The joint project between Ilia State University Tbilisi (ISU) and the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (WWU) offers Georgian graduates the opportunity to pursue doctoral research in Practical Philosophy within a structured Cotutelle-based framework. T

he Ph.D. students will undergo supervision and conduct doctoral studies at ISU in Tbilisi/Georgia and WWU in Münster/Germany (research period at WWU max. 12 months in total).

The joint doctoral program provides disciplinary events, such as seminars and summer schools, as well as co-supervision by professors from each university with excellent expertise in their relevant research fields.

Upon successful completion of the Ph.D. project doctoral degrees from WWU and ISU can be obtained on the basis of only one single dissertation. Five scholarship-funded Ph.D. positions are announced in the discipline Practical Philosophy.
